DO NOT go to this salon! Last week I went in to have my hair lightened from black to dark brown, something that should be quite simple for a professional hair dresser. they left the strong bleach on my hair for over two hours even though it was burning my scalp, within half an hour I could see my hair was light enough but they were too busy with other clients to wash it out, after the two hours my roots where platinum blonde and my hair was fried beyond belief it didn't even resemble human hair anymore... then she put the toner on (all while gossiping and talking badly about the male salon manager/ owner), but instead of putting in the brown color I had picked out she put on JET BLACK so I ended up with my hair the exact same color as when I walked in only instead of the beautiful healthy shiny hair I had when I walked in it was now dry dead and frizzy, stupidly I paid anyway because she promised it would lighten after I washed it, well I washed it about 15 times over the next few days even using heavy duty dandruff shampoos to try and strip the color but it is still jet black, I called the manager to complain but he wasn't in so I was told he would return my call when he got in after lunch time, the call never came so after another 2 days I went into the salon in person to complain again, another hair dresser told me she was so sorry and that it was not on at all and that she'd make sure I'd get my money back, I left my phone number again and later that day was called and told to come in on the Tuesday at 9:30 for a meeting with the manager, I went in and was made to sit and wait (with my 18 month old in toe) for over 45 minutes past the agreed upon time just so she could tell me I was not getting a refund, she did offer to "fix" it by bleaching my hair AGAIN but after the damage that had already been caused there was no way I was going to let them touch me, it just goes to show how little they care about their clients hair that they were willing to bleach my hair twice in a period of only 4 days (which would cause irreversible damage)
