Hammonds is an excellent butcher - and no ripping people off and no dearer that anywhere else. Their meat is good quality and the staff are very friendly and more than happy to give you advice if you need it. It's has the of a feeling of a real country butcher. They make their own sausages which I regularly buy and they are absolutely yummy! I have been going to them for the last 9 years. What more can I say - I totally recommend them.
