I am from Sydney, so my expectations are probably higher for fantastic fresh tasting sushi. Hanaichi has pretty fresh, good tasting sushi, but not fantastic if you ask me. I decided to check it out being a sushi lover. Unfortunately, service from this restaurant is disgusting. I shall refrain from typing personal comments. I expect very much more from a award winning restaurant , but what I found was very much worse. A waiter should not be arrogant and have a "gangster" attitude in such a restaurant.

I am a self proclaimed sushi queen and this has to be my favourite sushi restaurant in Brisbane! Fresh fresh sushi, fantastic variety of original sushi. Can be busy at times so you may have to wait to be seated but well worth the wait! Check it out!

Even that they are always busy especially at lunch time, they always very polite. I guess maybe is Japanese culture. No matter what, keep the smiling face.=)

There is a wide range of sushi and there is a really good ambiance here. The chefs make sushi on requiest and service is quick and polite. Great for a lunch time meal or informal dinner with a friend. The soft shell crab sushi is yum!

Always busy, but worth the wait. We often go to Hanaichi on a Friday night and when there's just two of us we get a table fairly quickly, but any more than 3 people and you'll be waiting a while. The food is always fresh and delicious.

A sushi train sort of dining restaurant which is always filled with people in que.
Food is good but it is slightly more expansive than an average sushi place of this type. There's definately room for improvement on the service and hygiene though.

I'm a big Hanaichi fan, have gone to almost every one of their stores, the service is always good, fast and the options on the menu are always very easy and simple to choose from. They have a good bar menu too, and a nice roast duck salad. Limited seating though but a classy joint altogether.

This place has good atmosphere, fine dining and attentive servers. They have a broad drink menu to choose from and the sushi train has sushi and sashimi that is always fresh and well made. The prices are reasonable, a bit on the dear side, only bad thing really is limited seating.

been there many times since 2006, the sushi is great just a bit dissapointed with the service. staffs always look busy, not that easy to talk with them. Seating also very very narrow.
