The coffee is hot. But don't request anything different. Went with my child and asked for a hot chocolate to be made a little cooler. It was steaming. Much hotter than my coffee. When I raised this with the staff they shrugged. I would understand if they were busy (not make such a request) but there were two staff to five customers and they were talking about boyfriends. Hanging rock was marvelous though.

We visited the cafe on 13 August 2015. The service and food were outstanding. Well done. Carn't wait for my next trip to Hanging Rock.

Service was wonderful, food was fantastic, the setting and the view was breath taking. everytime a friend from out of town visits we pop over to the hanging rock cafe for lunch and then a stroll up the rock.

The cafe is warm and friendly especially on a windy day. The menu is quite diverse and suprisingly pleasant. The staff are well informed about the rock and very helpful. Welove this place and keep coming back. Try the lattes they are marvellous.
