Nice atmosphere. Food good. Good service.

A bit dissapointed to be left standing at the door until management decide whether breakfast menu would be served at 10.55am on Sunday or whether it would be lunch menu? Wait to be seated? Wait until we decide what will be served? and then get told that they had been busy and not everything on the menu was available.

Had a casual evening bite with friends at the Hangout last night. As expected on a Friday night the place was full but the two wait persons seemed to handle the crowd efficiently and the service was friendly and helpful. Portion sizes are more than adequate and everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. I did make one observation in that a young couple who came in well after us received their orders and had left before we received our main courses - we were in good company and in no hurry so it really was not an issue - just a comment.
The place has a nice atmosphere and it will be good for breakfast, a coffe and cake or a late cocktail and dessert to finish off an evening. Pretty sure that we will be back.
