I booked a stay here as we were attending a Wedding locally and also wanted to visit the Hot Springs which are just around the corner.
We were greeted when we arrived by Trish and offered cake & coffee. There was a lovely fire burning in the common area. Trish showed us our room which was large and had a walk in wardrobe, large bathroom with large shower, air conditioner and large glass doors which opened out to a private area and views of part of their property.
The room was tastefully decorated and immaculately clean and fresh. We were provided with tea & coffee amenities and shown where the fresh milk was.
Bed was very comfortable and we slept really well. Woke up for a hot breakfast (eggs and bacon, mushrooms & tomato) at 10am and fresh brewed coffee as well as plenty of cereal (including gluten free muesli) and toast options that we could have as well as the hot breakfast. We definitely didn't leave hungry.
One of the few places offering a single night stay over the weekend. If I have the opportunity to visit the area again I would definitely stay there.
They have a spa which can be booked for an extra $20/couple and a reading library where you can borrow books (even take them home to finish and post them back if you want).
Wonderful hospitality. Highly recommended for couples of all ages.
