Really beautiful restaurant, had dinner here with my husband when we stayed the night at the Sebel. It was over valentines day, so it was a set menu which normally I'm not a huge fan if, but the Food was actually beautiful, especially dessert! The wait staff were very attentive, and even though the restaurant was packed, they checked in on you regularly.

Sometimes when travelling for work you get stuck in the middle of nowhere and have no choice but to eat at the Hotel restaurant. Its these times that you hope the food is good.

Fortunately this work trip to Windsor I was lucky to encounter the Harvest Restaurant at the Sebel Resort and Spa. The food there was so good that my colleague and I dined there every evening and didn't need to venture out towards Richmond in search of sustenance.

Their menu isn't extensive. 6 different entrees, 5 different mains and 5 different desserts. We were there for 4 dinners so I think between us we almost tried everything there (and some of the good ones twice).

The ambiance is nice. Soft lighting with a real fireplace and only about 10 tables though they were never really very crowded. Attentive staff of about 2 or 3 servers an evening.

As for food, the highlights were:
Entree: Queensland Prawns (So good that I ordered this twice), Pork Belly (always good and worth a try)

Mains: The Steak was excellent and nicely cooked served with crayfish. The Truffle infused chicken was a little too strongly flavored (if you really really love truffle then give it a go).

Dessert: Oh the decadence! Apple Fritters with a cream sauce and Hot Chocolate Croissants were to die for. My Colleague was also very impressed with the Affagato which he ordered twice.

All in all I was very impressed with the restaurant and it's one reason why I'll be volunteering for the next work trip out there.

Approximate cost: $30-45

Entrees are about 15-20 bucks. Mains about 20 (risotto)-45 (for the steak). Desserts are about 10-15. Wine was pretty reasonable about 20-30 gets a decent bottle.
