I would like to thank Chase H.Norman employee in IT, for setting up my new laptop & printer. Chase was snowed under with work due to Black Friday sales. IMO he should have had someone else assisting him. Thanks Chase for all your help well done.

Got sucked in with a carpet sale. Sales staff OK but installation and after service very poor. Carpet was very badly laid with gaps, holes, and unfinished corners. Had to argue to get them back to fix it. Eventually fixed but very stressful and unnecessary. Wouldn't recommend them.

Unfortunately I have to give one star as there is no option to give less. Recently I purchased two 'Laser' brand Android Tablets for my young sons to take on an oversea's holiday. They were on special for $58.00 each, down from over $100.00. I asked the sales assistant if they would support android apps and games, to which he advised they would and they were a good tablet for children. I also purchased two screen protectors and two cases. Got them home, charged them up and tried to load some apps - terrible and slow. The boys were unable to use them as the apps they wanted to play such as minion rush, angry birds etc would constantly freeze, clearly the device is not for anything other than reading emails. Further, the screen protector and cases I was sold did not fit these tablets. Upon returning from our trip I took them back to Harvey Norman in their box's with receipts. My reason for returning them was that the did not do what they were intended and I wanted a refund. My boys got 5 mins use before they became extremely irritated with the freezing and lack of response. The extremely rude manager refused to refund me or even provide a credit based on the fact that they were not in a re sellable condition! He asked me what I expected when I only paid $58.00! He then said that they had been scratched and used and I was to complain to Laser directly. He then had the audacity to ask me how much I paid for my Samsung Galaxy Android and that was what I would need to pay to get a quality tablet. I am truly disgusted with the service I received from Harvey Norman Caringbah & have since found out that those tablets in particular are on a run out clearance so I have aided Mr Harvey in recouping some revenue for his junk, including the screen protectors and cases that didn't even fit that model. Shame.

I went to buy a dishwasher today , I saw exactly what I wanted. Except there wasn't anyone to serve me, I almost picked up the phone that wouldn't stop ringing. I don't expect much from this store but no hello, no can I help you, nothing. Obviously I wont be buying from HN Caringbah, can totally understand why retail is doing it hard

An excellent example of how a Harvey Norman store should be. Not all, but most staff are courteous & helpful & know when to approach. Some can be very pushy but others are relaxed and friendly. They offer the right products to go with your purchase & give you the opportunity to decide whether you want the extras or not. Highly recommended

Okay my pet peeve is Service...

These people do not know what service is...We were looking
at lounges...it was like we were invisible..

and the cost of what was available for the quality was not
good...

and yet we have friends who shop here again and again...

We did not buy here and will not go again.!!!

The Sales Girl was so helpful, nothing was a problem, no matter how many questions I asked and she could offer me more products at sale prices and offered me times when the same products will be coming on sale. I bought & ordered more goods because of this girl. I bought a Delonghi Heater, Morphy Richards Kettle and ordered a Morphy Richards toaster and will be looking at more.

Good: Is local
Bad: Hard-pressed to haggle with the sales reps on white goods. Had better results at Good guys. However had decent results with bedding and manchester dept.

Salesperson in Computers was very helpful, and took the time to explain over a period of an hour and a half all the benefits of each type of computer so that we could make an informed choice
