I went in to buy a replacement digital camera and was pleasantly surprised by the courtesy and promptness of the service given. I was also pleasantly surprised at the knowledge of the staff in relation to digital photography, I have been a professional photographer all my life and used to getting this type of service only from dedicated suppliers of photographic equipment.

I was treated like scum the day I was looking to purchase an LCD TV. The salesman was rude and ignorant. I had my 2 yr old son with me and he was standing in front of a huge TV. The only time I was approached was when the salesman said "get your child away from that TV. They are expensive!" My son did not even touch it. So I left in disgust and bought my LCD TV from a better outlet for $1200 cash. I never go to Harvey Norman anymore.

purchased a surge powerboard 2 years ago,recently it fused....went back to harvey norman and purchased another...took it home and realised it was the wrong one...took it back and took the old fused one so i wouldnt get the wrong one again...the salesman looked at the fused one and said this can be replaced free of charge it shouldnt have fused they are pretty much guaranteed...i got my new powerboard and had my $250.00 that id paid refunded.....i thought that was great he didnt hav to tell me that ...it just shows that he had the customers interest at heart....every time i go to this store they are always very helpful and curteous .

I purchased a Garmin GPS from this store and it developed a fault and was returned for repair as required under the extended warranty. The service by the staff in that section was great and the GPS was subsequently replaced with a brand new device.
