Very disappointed. Not at all professional. So rude and arrogant.
Told him what I wanted a tiny filling filled on the tooth to the side of a gold inlay. He took off the inlay because he said he couldn’t see the filling. But it was totally clear in the photo. He said he had to take out my gold inlay. The he said would not put the inlay back and I would need a filling over the both areas. I had to get the filling done as everything was exposed and painful.
Very deceitful and misleading in how he went about upselling. When I discussed what I knew and wanted he was patronising and dismissive and about other dentist internationally as well. I had asked him to be clear at the beginning about costs before he did anything.
Then after he finished he added in a consolation fee on top of the work which he did not discuss. He argued loudly and intimidatingly when I said it wasn’t reasonable as it was not discussed. I was new to area and wanted to find a good regular dentist. Did a lot of research to find one with much Australian qualifications and experience. But would not recommend Dr Linforth to anyone.
