I bought a recycled rubber messenger bag from the Haul online webstore. www.haul.com.au. It's a big site with lots of pages and movies to show you how they make the products. They claim there are over 3000 unique products online because 'no two are ever the same' - this maybe true. I got lost trying to navigate to the pages where you make the purchase, but i called Haul and was guided through the order over the phone. The bag arrived the next day (without me paying for Express postage ). A pretty good experience.

I've been looking for a new laptop sleeve for my MacBook without finding anything inspiring and literally stumbled across this shop in North Fitzroy called Haul. They make old advertising banners into bags and bean bags. Truck rubber into messenger bags and quirky things from number plates. The laptop sleeve is very cool, they have literally thousands to chose from and they are all different.
Edgy feel to the store, they have old bubble imacs as display pieces in the store that give it a retro vibe. Friendly crew in the shop that showed me through the website. Cute dog in the window.

"Pop culture recycled". They are a relatively new business but taking off life a rocket. They make bags, laptop zip-ups, purses and dog accessories from recycled advertising banners and inner tubes. My nephew adored his CD holder made from a recycled number plate.
Defintely cool stuff and a place to get gifts for guys.
