Recently completed my TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessing in Darwin. The trainer, Carmen Yates, was very knowledgeable and made the course more interesting than I expected it would be. The delivery mode of part external with 5 days of intensive classes was a great way to get a full understanding of the concepts. I would highly recommend this course.

I've just completed my TAE40110 -Certificate IV in Training and Assessing with Carmen Yates in Darwin. The course ran from the 28th September - 2nd October 2015. The course was very professionally conducted and our Trainer Carmen was fantastic and delivery of this somewhat difficult Intensive course. HBA Learning Centres on this particular occasion is highly recommended by me. I am from the Mining Sector and this course will assist greatly as I train personnel in Emergency Response and Operating Mobile Plant

I enrolled in the Double Diploma of VET and Training Design and Development. I opted to attend the 5 day intense face to face training which proved to be one of the most inspiring courses I have done date. My trainer Dominique’s professionalism, interpersonal skills and facilitation approach was impeccable! Her unique style of training allowed me to be self directed in my learning. I walked away from the intense training feeling inspired and motivated, I would recommend HBA Learning Centres to anyone who’s wanting to obtain a qualification. Hats off to you Dominique and Well done!!!!

I found the course rather repetitive and confusing at times. I participated in a five day intensive training program in Melbourne. The trainer was OK, however, I found the external mode after the 5 day intensive training was very "trying" I accept the attention to detail is a necessity, but by the time you get feedback, the content has gone from your head! I found the feedback timeframe was sometimes very prolonged and frustrating.
When I was nearing completion of the work, I was referred to a dynamo by the name of "Julian", who was able to clarify things for me very quickly and I had my Statement of Attainment within hours. I appreciate the efforts of the trainers and would recommend the RTO to others, but I am pleased it is over, as it was a bit of a nightmare!!

HBA Cert 1V Training & Assessment had been recommended by Randwick Tech, the encouragement, assistance and back-up, from Julian was out-standing. the way he understood any and all problems, then could break it down and explain it so you could absorb it was far beyond my expectations. Several times a paragraph from a Gov site was read out he was able to tell you were you got it from, and then paraphrase a better one. Julian was very accessible for help on the ball almost 24hrs a day and that smart he should have two heads.
If you are lucky enough to get Julian to teach you. The WIZARD from HBA will get you through.

Neil conducted a course well-suited to the groups needs and engaged everyone really effectively. He provided clear and constructive feedback where necessary meaning we got full value out of the training session.

All documentation was readily available, clear to understand and additional information was sourced from the internet which made the training more beneficial. The training venue couldn’t have been more suitable.

In every area, my expectations of HBA Learning Centres and the course were not just met, but were well and truly exceeded. The course organisation, subject matter, delivery and resourcing were outstanding. It has been a wonderful learning experience for me.
