Just came back from having my hair colored by Headturners Hair & Beauty.
Was quoted the cost of having root touch up & blonde streaks by email. Arrived at the salon & confirmed the price again was the same as quoted by email. All good to go.
Hairdresser then proceeded to charge me more when I got to the till without first consulting me on her decision to up the price during the hair coloring process.

Told her I didn't want a blow dry, but she gave me the Impression that she would do a quick dry of my hair so that I wouldn't have to walk out into the street with wet dripping hair.
Didn't advise me that an Improper blow-dry of about three minutes would still cost $10 extra. And I still walked out with wet, Improperly dried hair.

Total quoted via email & in studio - $155 (root touch-up $65 + half head $90)
Total quoted at till - $190 (root touch up $90 + half head $90 + blow-dry $10)

Dishonest service. Highgate community deserves better local business than this one.

Best hairdressing. Having lived Australia wide and overseas I can honestly say that I have never had such a dedicated and professional team. The service is first class together with the bonus of friendly and caring staff. I always walk out of there so impressed. They always make you feel like you matter and have a complete understanding of what I need. I am never disappointed. I always have many comments about my hair. I cannot speak more highly of Headturners!!!

The new owners need to learn a thing or two about scheduling, it took them 4 hours for a half head of foils and style cut. I was waiting for 2 hrs between steps. Terrible!!
