these pies are ok occasionally,i would not make a point to go a lot,the service on the day that i went was slow, the pie was not very warm, you would get the impression that they were busy but there was another family there that was all, must have been a down time for them,as a local i was disappointed

We stopped here to have coffee and cakes on our way to Forster. It is next to hungry jacks on the high way . The place was empty with few young kids working. The coffee we ordered was fine but didn't like the donuts we had. The pies were good but not fresh. It looks like they kept them frozen. Service was ok and price was reasonable.

heatherbraes pies are absolutely delicious! and even better they are affordable. the shop is large but always packed. the service is fast and the staf were nice. i had a pie with two peices of chuncy, well cooked steak, it was yummy!
i will be back. it would be a good place to go if you were on a roadtrip.

heatherbrae's pies are absolutely delicious. they are really really good. and they are well priced aswell, which is always good.
the restaurant is nice and big so there is pleanty of space to sit down and enjoy a pie.
if you're ever on a road trip, its always a good idea to pop in and grab a pie.

The pie was great but we arrived at 7.30 pm (it closes at 8.00 pm) and they had started mopping the floor and packing up the chairs. It wasn't very pleasant eating your pie with the smell of the bleach in the air!!! The toilets also had been cleaned and closed early so there was a queue for the disabled toilet which was the only one open. If you are open until 8pm I would suggest mopping up the floors at that time especially if using bleach!!!! The food however was good.

We have stopped off at Heatherbrae's Pies many times over the years with no complaints. On our last visit, however, we took home a large mincemeat & mushroom pie which was quite a disappointment; it was full of gristly bits! Were we just unlucky or has their quality taken a dive?

We love these pies especially the family fruit pies and their sausage rolls. We always stop there on our trips up north and look forward to their pies!

Really nice pies and quiches. Nice for a change when you don't want to cook but don't want anything too naughty. They have a nice variety or pies and can even get family size pies.
