My partner and I visited Heaven with a deals voucher last month and were surprised that we were able to pick basically anything we wanted from the menu as lots of deals restaurants have set menus exclusively for a deals voucher.
For entrée we ordered goats cheese arancini balls and prawn fritters. I thought the arancini were absolutely delicious and the fritters weren't bad.
For mains we ordered crispy duck and a steak.
The steak came with a teeny tiny burnt potato and was medium bordering on raw when asked for medium/well done. The duck skin was no where near crispy, it was like an inch layer of hard fat that was impossible to cut through with a regular dinner knife!! & the meat was tough.
The dessert wasn't too bad, a saffron creme brulee.
The waitress who served us was very friendly however the lack of attention to filling up water glasses was annoying, I waited all through entrée and main for a refill!!
All in all it was an okay experience but won't go back.

Great place for after works drinks or food. We were so happy to dine in Heaven little bit tucked away makes right spot on St. Kilda road to enjoy the dinner

We had steak here and it was cooked well and very tasty. There are a great range of wine, beers and spirits to have along with your meal or if you just want to have drinks. We were there at happy hour so it made it a good price.
The waitress was very helpful, explained everything and attentive. I would love to go back just to have the steak again.

We had a coupon for a 3 course meal and we could choose pretty much anything on the menu and the food was so good we were both full but trying to fit in as much as we could because it tasted so good! The waitress we had was very friendly and helpful answering all questions we had for her and was very knowledgable about all the courses served.The problem was didnt have certain things on the menu.
Will definately be back great to have great service this is very rare these days!
Ok so we went back there tonight with yet another coupon and once again they had nothing available on the menu except this time they really had nothing available except for stuff we wouldnt normally order so we are definately not impressed that this has now happened twice and the special was on the special of the day board but still not available! We wont be back now.
