Had to return my car after Mitsubishi made a very small mistake on the previous car service... Not annoyed about that, annoyed at the front desk customer service. Mitsubishi customer service manager admitted the error eventually and fixed the problem. Not once though did he apologise for the inconvenience it caused me even though I stated how appreciative I was that they fixed it at short notice. It's such a simple and polite thing to do... you guys should really take a look at your customer service.
We bought a second-hand car from here and also got an extended warranty that lasted 3 years and had the condition that we get the car serviced there as well. Therefore for the last 3 years I've had the car serviced there regularly but have always thought the services have been quite expensive. Since the warranty lapsed I've been going to a local mechanic which seems cheaper and also picked up a problem with the front shock absorbers that they seemed to think had been there a long time. He was shocked that it had not been picked up earlier. The location is not great - good if you live or work nearby (e.g. at the Austin) but otherwise it's not that practical e.g. is quite far from the train station. Customer service has always been good though, pretty friendly and helpful. Unlikely to return though due to the costs, inconvenient location, and worry about why they didn't pick up the problem the other mechanic did.
I joined the WOMO forum just to make this statement.
My wife & I bought a brand new Lancer VRX through Heidelberg Mitsubishi in 2011. We had all, bar the last service carried out there.(We used to travel an hour + both ways to do it) When the mechanic performing my last service was checking my wheels & tyres he found that ALL the tyres were wearing badly on the inside of the tyres.
As the vehicle had only done 30 odd thousand easy Kms & that the rest of the tyre was very good, I approached Heidelberg Mitsubishi as to why I was never informed of the tyre wear and also they never gave it an alignment (There was also no mention of tyre wear on my statements) & they kept going on that the car was 3 year old Yarta Yarta Yarta, feeding me a load of tripe.
I approached Mitsubishi Australia & had no satisfaction there either.
All I am trying to say is this; "By my experience I would not recommend anyone buying from them"
I'll never go back there & I won't touch another Mitsubishi.
