I stumbled upon Herriot house by chance. I am a registered breeder. I needed a progesterone test done and I had not organised it with my reproductive vet earlier and it was a Sunday. I did not want to test this girl too often. She was a maiden and with her I wanted as little intervention as possible. She’d had bad experiences with one vet clinic and this was not the time to stress her. I explained to the nurses what she had been through and to make it fun for her but to also be confident. The nurses were fantastic. Other vets found it hard to draw blood but the two nurses on that shift did so well. My girl was out in no time. They were also flexible with time and the results were back within a few hours. Very well priced as well.

i had the horrible task of haveing to have my beutifully little boy tahi to sleep,it was his time to go and from the word go the doctors,nurses,and all the staff at herriot house,helped both me and my tahi deal with what was coming,they were so wonderful and careing&understanding in which was a very traumatic time for me and they talked me through everything,and made sure i was completely aware of what was going on and what would happen and showed their compassion,and such a careing nature and went over and above what they had to do to make my transition bearable,for which i am and will always be eternally greatful,and recomend them to anyone needing vets or anything to do with animal health and support,thankyou herriot house,i will be always useing you when i get my next mate,and advise everyone to use them they r so wonderful.

Herriot House cared for our two beloved dogs, Shilo for 14 years and Possie for over 3 years. Possie was 12 years old when we got her, we were blessed with two loving devoted girls. Whenever we needed Herriot House's services no matter what time or day they were promptly available with their excellent and caring service no matter how small or large the problem. When the time came for the girls to leave us, Peter Lyons came to our house and released them from their pain and suffering. We thank all at Herriot House for their caring, understanding and professionalism.

They took wonderful care of our very much loved family pet for years, was a very sad day when he was put down, the staff were very professional and caring and allowed us quality time with him.

Very compassionate and understanding, we had our dog of 14 years put down and they were nothing short of understanding and let us take all the time we needed and followed up with us to see how we were coping.
