We stayed here on our way home from Melbourne (Phillip Island actually). Its about half way between Melb. and Adelaide, and 20 minutes from the Grampians.
This motel is located at the edge of Stawell, on the main highway. I thought it might have been noisy, but we didnt really notice it too much (maybe we were just tired from travelling right through Melbourne, one side to the other, earlier that day).
The rooms are good-sized, with all the necessary facilities, microwave in every unit.
A solar heated pool (we didnt use), gym, playground and laundry, at a reasonable, budget price.
The owners were very friendly, and we found it adequately comfortable for our overnight stay.
