Constantly cancel lessons, take weeks to book a lesson then cancel last minute. Refuse to refund for lessons they are unable to provide and get abusive when trying to resolve, Wouldnt recomend them.

I am writing this to warn others about the behaviour of Hien as mentioned by others already, and confirm the unethical behavior common to others. It is a simple strategy, teach half the skills, attack their confidence on the day of the test and hope they fail.
Oh, and Hien, of course people are going to comment anonymously. Who would want a vindictive person unable to act on feedback to be tracking them to see who is criticising your instruction. Before purchasing a package, I would recommend anyone wanting to use this service try before you buy.
My instructor Andy was great! He was very helpful, nice and always willing to go the extra mile to help you pass. Was able to pass my driving test on the first go. Highly recommend!
My instructor Andy is the best instructor ever! He was always on time, friendly and explained what i need to do clearly. He really cares about his work and has a professional attitude. I was initially nervous but he was encouraging and supported me in building my confidence. He taught me all the different ways of driving in challenging situations. He also showed me the test routes and everything I needed to know to pass the drive test. I was pretty much under pressure in the test but Andy trained me so well that I successfully got through with excellent result. I am very glad that i chose Hienz Driving School. Thank you Andy for your assistance along the way!
Hein was my first driving instructor. I was young and nieve and didn't realise how terrible the company really is until I recently booked another instructor who is professional, paitent and HELPFUL.
I purchased 10 lessons from HEINZ. Paid in two instalments. I actually only used 7. He made me feel uncomfortable and unworthy of being a driver on the road. (It would have been nice for him to give me a call to book the rest of my lessons before it expired)
ON ALL MY 7 LESSONS, I WAS ONLY TAUGHT HOW TO STEER 3point, and to "Keep my eyes on the road" absolutely ridiculous. I'd also like to note that Hein was occasionally late 5-10 minutes
My current instructor who on my first two lessons (i was as nervous and drenched in sweat) successfully taught me how to 3 point, Reverse Park and Parallel park.
I'll never recommend this company to anyone.

Stay away from this business!!! Horrible, horrible experience. After the full payment for Plan B$515 was handed over, the instructor was uncontactable! When he finally answered the call, he said it has expired being over 3 months and so we never got what we paid for! Hienz who assigned the driver to us, also would not give us a refund!!! They are crooks! Stay away from this business!

In this case your wife contacted us after the validation date over 1 week. We cant force our instructors to complete the expired date of your daughter's planB $515. If you contacted us within the validation date, we will pay you back even if the instructor did not want to. This matter also submitted to Consumers Affair of Victoria by you, CAV declared to close this case from your end, and also we posted the CAV's letter on your Facebook's comment. We do our best to serve all the learners around Melbourne, We did not do anything wrong on you, Stop bully us on social media as you threatened to destroy our presentation online.

STAY AWAY FROM HIENZ... The last thing anyone wants on a drive test is surprises...Here is a list of surprises I had, because I went with hienz
Surprise number 1 - On the test day morning I was waiting at vicroads for my 2 nerve cooling lessons. And guess what..I got a text from the instructor saying his car is broken down and he will be a bit late. He was so late I could get only a 15 min lesson before the test. not really a nerve cooling experience..
Surprise number 2 - Even though I took 4 lessons(only 4, because I was converting an overseas licence) with the instructor, he never got a chance to tell me that the testing officer will ask to show car's controls at the beginning of the test. A small thing, but a surprise enough to make one nervous.
Surprise number 3 - Pullover the car after stage 1. The instructor never told me about it. I was shocked and tensed when the testing officer told me to pullover during the test.
Overall it looks to me like hienz wants clients to fail so they take up more lessons and thus hienz can increase their profit.
Plus the attitude of the instructor was not very helpful in increasing one's confidence. Second time, I went with another reputed driving school and passed the test.

Very disappointing experience with this company, I purchased one of their 5-pack driving lessons, it was expensive, the instructor was rude and put me in several dangerous situations which almost resulted in the car being hit twice. Thankfully I found another instructor.
Anonymous? Should any driving instructors want to damage their vehicle?
Actually - it had nothing to do with whether he wanted to damage his vehicle or not. The first was an egotistical move the instructor made to prove a point, the second was as a result of the very poor instruction that he gave. I have read the above comments that you have posted to other people who have dared complain about the ridiculously poor service your company offered and I will NOT be bullied or intimidated in to altering my review. I still have nightmares almost 5 years on from when I was waiting for two/three lanes of traffic to become clear to enter on to Ballarat Road when my instructor took control of the vehicle, drove me in to the middle of oncoming traffic and asked me "so now what are you going to do?" releasing the wheel and leaving it up to me, a very inexperienced driver who was by this stage scared out of their wits to escape a potentially incredibly dangerous situation - this is unprofessional behaviour at it's best and is absolutely life threatening at worst.
If I had known then what I know now I would have sought legal representation immediately to address your negligent practice.
The people here are reviewing your business honestly for the sake of other everyday people, there seems to be a common theme in the reviews here for your business - rather than attacking the people writing them it would be far more professional of you to take heed of what they are saying and alter your business practices accordingly.
I am happy to say that under the guidance of Dr. Traffic I was able to regain my confidence as a driver and pass my driving test first time and I have been a happy, responsible driver ever since.
