I walked to Higgins hair design no appointment, fitted me in straight away I'm pretty fussy about hair but left with a good style. I was happy with service and defiantly will be a regular client. Would recommend to anyone

Went in to Higgins Hair Design with a dodgy haircut I hated and a botched home hair dye (not my finest week, I'll admit) and came out an hour and a half later with some lovely highlights, and a perfectly layered style that I absolutely love - all for a very reasonable cost. I travelled all the way from Canberra southside to Higgins, having read the glowing reviews here and honestly, I wasn't disappointed. Amie was absolutely lovely - friendly and professional and didn't show any judgement over my less than gorgeous hair. The salon is modest but welcoming, and I have to say that I've never been given such thorough and attentive treatment, even at a high-end salon. Really pleased with the experience and will definitely be going back. Highly recommended!

Amy the owner is great, she is a great colourist and gives a perfect cut every time, and best of all you get all of this for a great price. I would recommend Amy to everyone, even though I now live on the other side of town i wouldn't go anywhere else. She does kids cuts too which is great.

Amy is a well trained hairdresser and stylist and colourist who operates from a small shopping centre. It has free parking cery close to the shop. It is a comfortable suburban salon.
Amy is quick, professional and easy to talk to and knows what is best for you but can take your ideas and turn them into a special experience. You will always go away feeling you been treated well and that you have a great cut colour and style at a price that will leave your city salon for dead))) not traffic hassles and parking fees. Just such an easy experience.

A pleasant experience. Amy listens to you and does her best to give you what you want. If she feels the cut/colour will not suit you, she will give you positive alternatives not criticism. If you are not satisfied she will happily rectify where possible, not just offer to re-style/re-cut begrudingly
