We purchased a seafood basket. I couldn’t believe what I saw when we opened up the butchers paper!!! The prawns, fish bites, fish cocktail, calamari and mussel were so over cooked, they were literally almost burnt. The chips were under cooked. I took back all the seafood and showed the lady (owner) and kindly let her know it is not acceptable to serve the seafood in this manner. She then proceeded to tell me everyone likes it over cooked and chewy.
I let her know that I have been in the food industry all of my life and know that is far from the truth. She snatched the food from me and walked out the back. Once she returned I then decided I wanted some money back.
The service is poor. The food is poor.
It is such a shame.
I hope they pick up their game.

Worst potato scallops & chips I've ever tasted! The potato scallops were burnt & hardley any potato in them at all. Some of the chips tasted old while others weren't even cooked properly. No eftpos & no sign up to say they didn't have eftpos. When I rang to complain the response I got was "sorry - they looked ok when we wrapped them up!" Serve if chips & 4 poatato scallops cost I've $14 - will never go back there again!

I wouldn't recommend this place..must be different owners as it didn't live up to the reviews. The flake was so thin it was tough and the batter was overbearing, same with the potato scallops, half of it had no potatello at all. Gave them to the dogs. The dim SIM didn't taste good at all. Plus they have no card facilities..cash only.

highland park seafood have tasty seafood, chips etc for a good price. you get a good amount of chips for your money and the fish and seafood is always cooked fresh while u wait. they have a good vareity of food. staff are friendly and happy to serve u.

The seafood is great. there is something special about their spring rolls and their calamari a real hit with my family. great to see it family orientated.

Is great seafood, quick cooking time, only problem don't have much fresh seafood to buy.
There home made spring rolls are really yummy. The sea perch had so much flavor. My little man loved the calamari

The food is wonderful. He has the best fish and chips anywhere. The flake is great and the spring roll, calamari and dims sims are the best. His staff are always pleasant.
