Recently took my car in for a gear box service, the staff were friendly and helpful I would give them 5 stars. Thanks guys.

Booking in was easy; on drop-off I was given information about how much the work might cost as the cause and extent of problem with the transmission was unknown at that stage; they explained the process of quoting and getting authorisation for an under-warranty job; later that day they let me know the outcome and did the repairs same day; my call to say I was running a little late to pick up the car was "no worries"; and so far the gears are working just fine! My experience with Highway Automatics was very positive.

I have become a repeat customer to Highway Automatics not by choice. I have Kia Grand Carnival that they did me for a $5000 rebuild transmission. I should have known from the signs of how long it took for them to get started working on the vehicle. Let's just say January is when I dropped it off and March is when (after numerous questions and demands I got it back. Issue after issue and each time it please bring it back. I had my mechanic look over the car and he told me it was the transmission. I told him to call them and try to work with them and he told me, unlike most mechanic that will work with you they were very rude over the fact he was even calling them. I had it taken to midas they told me the same thing is your transmission, Once again a rude phone between me and the management they argue to the point of hanging up on me as the customer just before they tell me to shut up. I still take back to them because there is thing about "don't void the warranty" well what is being warrantied is the question. Each time I would take my care some where else for an opinion, I was told I was being taken for and cost did not match even close to the quality of what had been done. I am still dealing with them even this day of 09/02/12, I took my car to midas for a check up. I dropped if off at 0800 and by 0900 I got a call for me to pick up the vehicle. The mechanic only took for a test drive and told me it would be pointless and costly to me for him to try to even start with something else when he noticed the transmission reflected issues even while driving. He advised me to get a second opinion even thou it would cost me to do so. Because it I took it back to them and the problem was not corrected it was even more of a waste of time. Good on those that have better out comes than me but for those that are experiencing issues please let the public know.

I have had transmissions supplied & fully rebuilt, plus numerous services on my company, personal vehicles, all cars are picked up & dropped off when done, all done right first time, & good advice given when needed, highly recommended

Fantastic service from Sam and the boys at Highway Automatics.My customer had a transmission issue with her Jackaroo not changing gears Sam had the vehicle collected via a tilt tray then 4 days later returned driving like new and well within the budget and exactly what was quoted.Awesome stuff guys huge thanks AAA+++

BEWARE!! very minor work required= delayed by many days for the return of your car, not the most experienced trasnmission mech out there, at the end of the day YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, there fore steer clear
