I had my hair done here a few times. Their service was very good, they offered wine or tea and made you feel special with quite an individualised service. However they weren't careful enough with my hair, they messed it up a couple of times which you might or might not blame them for. They did their best to correct themselves but eh, I'd lost my trust. Not a huge fan of the products they were using or the prices either. Worth a go but fairly average overall.

Rob has been cutting my hair since the early 90s (during that time he has worked interstate and so have I). I trust him implicitly. Sorry you had a bad experience, but I'd be interested to hear what your experience has been like with other hairdressers.
I find the prices reasonable - I was paying $300 in Sydney for what I pay $130 at Hippo, and consider the quality of the cutting and colour to be the same.
Also, Kevin Murphy styling products are the best I have found so far.
