my 2 children loved coming here. the pool had life guards patrolling non stop which was very reassuring.
the change areas were clean and there was lots of snacks and hot food to pick on your way out.
lots of parking available as well. $20 for a family ticket
Theres also a gym and beauty shop in the same complex.

this is a fantastic place to visit..love the pools and the diving boards has a brilliant pool for the kids with a slide and water sprinkler things has lockers to keep your belongings safe has kid minding service and a exercise place too..the change rooms are great..well equipped even for parents with kids and nice hot showers grab a season ticket it's cheaper love this place really great place to visit

I have recently started going to the pools at the Aquatic Centre and overall I have been impressed. The shallow 25m pool has lanes available for slow, medium and fast swimmers, with a similar set up in 50m pool. You need to check the timetable for availability in evenings and on weekends.

The family pool is fantastic for children - it has a gradual incline to a very shallow part for small children, with water features showering water and a frog water slide for toddlers. The pool then gradually slopes to a deeper part. There is a larger slide for the older children, with room for adult to accompany a child down the slide if necessary.

I have found the staff on the desk to always be very helpful and informative. The life saving staff are a little aloof.

The part of the complex which needs attention is the public changing rooms which are very tired. I am told the members change rooms are very nice, but not everyone can afford an annual membership!

There are family changerooms which are in better condition, but on weekends there can be a queue to use these.

Complex nice and warm in the middle of a cold Hobart winter.

I joined the Aquatic Centre for their gym. Very happy with my membership. The cardio and weights section is a little crowed, but has everything you need. The classes are good and the pool clean and warm.

A great pool that makes good use of the space and area. With a diving pool, a 25m pool, a 50m competition pool and a separate play area with a slide for kids, it is a great facility for all ages and levels. It can get a little hot and stuffy in the cooler months, but it is generally a very good pool.
