Car electrical systems drive me crazy and that's no pun. We've had three particular problems with three different cars and each time we've had to resort to the magic hands of the guys at Hobson's Bay.

First there was the stop light on the station wagon - you have to take half the back of the car apart to change the tiny little globe. Something kept shorting out and it kept blowing out. Finally the problem was solved by a trip to this no-nonsense tin shed inside big yard in the industrial areas of North Willy.

Next came the horn switch on the ute. It would send the alarm off at all hours of the day and night - not endearing us to the neighbours. Job number three was to do with a door latch and an inside light being somehow psychically connected and so it took the Auto electrician to convince them otherwise.

I don't know how he understands this misty area of car maintenance, but thank goodness he does.

All problems now solved and three cars back on the road later, we're trouble free.

Very nice obliging guys - they'll look at it right there and then if they've got the time and it's a simple problem. Otherwise you book it in and come back later. This area of Willy is quiet and no traffic. You can safely leave your car on the street and come back at night to get it. Parking no problems.

Cost was very reasonable, and in one instance, he didn't charge us for replacing a globe when the underlying problem was still making it act up.

Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
