A day procedure here is a pretty painless experience - no pun intended.

The staff are caring and considerate, assisting with the form filling in, and any questions you might have. The medical personnel are skilled, efficient and take the time before to thoroughly explain the procedure as well as after, to make sure you are comfortable and explain your results.

It's an older building and I think it was once a part of the old Altona Hospital as there's photos from it's history on the walls. I found this a nice link with history and the medical profession in general.

Parking is best off in a side street as there's only a few spots out the front and this is very near the shopping precinct.

But you definitely don't want to show the paperwork to the kids - pictures of what it looks like inside your ... "nether regions" shall we say, are not that pretty. But if you have to have tests done, then this is a good place to go. They do many different procedures here, but only some of the cost is covered by Medicare. Make sure you take your card.
