Three of us went for lunch at Hog's Breath. The service was fast, the seating uncomfortable (hard wooden benches like church pews), the food was slightly disappointing.

I ordered garlic prawns and steak. The negative was that there were far too few prawns and the steak was a fatty cut. However the taste of the prawns and steak were both great. It is the only aspect of the experience that makes me want to return to dine here.

I found the curly fries to be bland, the rice served with everything was awful, the vegetables superfluous at best. The menu needs to be improved to provide a more generous serving with better sides.

My Partner and I went in to try out the new Hogs Breath Cafe at Watergardens. The service was excellent. Very friendly and could not do enough for us. My Steak was cooked very tender and my partner's Chicken Parmigana was delicious. Meal sizes were huge and were totally decieved by the picture of the Rocky Road Sundae which was enormous. End of the night we rolled out of there. Great party classic music to create a lively atmosphere.
I would recommend this to families with kids also.

Friendly service by an obviously newly trained girl. The food was very ordinary curly fries barley warm were as was the vegetables. The worst for me was the jug of coke ordered it was flat more like cordial full of ice . Had planned to go for a x mas dinner but have since canceled because of the food.

Relaxing and friendly dining. I have eaten here twice. Both times I ordered the same meal, which was fish, salad and mash. The first time I received a decent piece of fish and a good amount of crisp fresh salad. The second time I dined here I was very disappointed. The salad was not placed nicely on the plate, it looked as though they had thrown it on the plate. There were more lentils thrown in than anything else. And the fish was very small for the price. I felt that the meal was totally overpriced at around $18.00. I will give it another try and perhaps order something different and see how I go, as it is conveniently located in my area.

Entering 'Hogs Breath Cafe', the somewhat random American theme looked exciting. We were immediately assisted by friendly staff and ushered to a table that looked incredibly small. This however, proved no obstacle as the meals were small as well. From a seemingly limited menu we ordered Brushchetta for an entree, it was delicious. The mains however, weren't as impressive. A small pile of carrots alongside curly fries and a corn cob sided with my chicken, whilst the food was cooked well and quite tasty, I'd rather not buy something I could easily make at home.
While the restaurant was interesting to try, I certainly wouldn't purchase any of the souvenirs they had on offer.

The steaks were delicious and really tender although the whole meal was completely cold, it was like it had been sitting there for half an hour before they brought it out to us. Every single one of our meals were cold which was very disappointing.

The cocktails are beautiful and so was the calamari!!.. The food tastes great but the coldness ruined it completely... We all left very disappointed as we were expecting more. I have been to several different Hogs Breath's in QLD, NSW and Dandenong and they're food was great, so I talked it up to my friends who were very disappointed when we received barley warm meals...Send out HOT meals and it would be a thumbs up otherwise disappointing.

The food was just as good as I have had at any Hogs Breath Cafe. The steak was tender and the serving sizes were generous. Unfortunately interactions with two waitresses detracted from our overall experience. The waitress who took our order was too 'chumy' and went too far in offering every single 'up sell' available. The waitress who delivered our food and drinks seemed less than happy to be at work. We all ordered sides of bernaise sauce, but only mine arrived with our meals. When we pointed this out to the waitress, she said we must have our meals around the wrong way and we had to explain to her that in fact we had all ordered the side. She went to investigate, came back with the extra sauces and apologised by saying 'sorry about that, it wasn't my fault, the order had not been taken correctly.' My friends and I all commented afterwards at how unprofessional this looked. Also, we had to repeatedly ask for drink refills.
