I can count on the consistency of the meals here but I usually order the same thing, home made dim sims with XO fried rice and Mongolian steak. I have found other meals a little heavy with the sauce but if I say something they usually back off on the sauce and there is more meat/vegetables presented. Good to know! My favorite.

I haven't seen so many different types of fried rice on offer anywhere, these guys have 14 different types of fried rice. I tried their Szechuan fried rice for $8.50 - it was okay and tasted home-made but was nothing special. Wasn't really that hot either but I did get a large quantity of it though. I noted that a couple of customers asked for the special fried rice so maybe that would be the go.

They have a lunch box special for $6.80 and a dinner box special for $8.50 which is your choice of beef/chicken/pork with veggies in any sauce with rice. Sauces are:black bean, satay, garlic, oyster, curry, plum, chilli, tomato, spicy chilli bean, sweet chilli, teriyaki, lemongrass chilli and honey soy. Quite a few choices! I might try one of these if I'm in the area next.

The Chinese food here is good value for money. This is one of the cheapest takeaways that I know of. They do have a selection of Thai dishes on offer too which are a little more expensive, $11-$17.

Service can be a little slow if only one staff member is present.

Open around lunchtime to 9pm Monday to Saturday, closed on Sunday.

Approximate cost: $9-$12; Seafood dishes $15-$17; a lot of dishes under $10

The sweet and sour pork I had here was rather poor. The batter was dry and tasted old, the sauce was sweet and not sour. I must admit service was quick and efficient.

Service is speedy, but the food could do with a little work. I found some of the dishes were just heavy on the sauces and you really couldn't taste anything else but the sauce. The sweet & sour pork was dry and heavy with batter lacking in meat. Bit of a disappointment for me.

Approximate cost: $10.00

I agree with you tangk about the amount of sauce in the meals. I have found if you say something at the time of ordering it does make a difference.

The dim sims are great and the boxes are great value. Service is always fast and efficient and they are really flexible with the dishes too.

Quality takeaway for a reasonable price. Meals are freshly cooked and service is fast. Large menu selection to choose from. My husband and I visit this cafe once a week, usually on a friday or saturday night. I regularly order the beef dinner box, which includes beef and veggies and steamed rice for $8.50. It has always been good. I highly recommend their special fried rice and dim sims as well, they're great.

Approximate cost: $10.00
