7 reviews about Holiday Inn Burswood

I have usually stayed at the main Crown Hotel at Burswood, but wanted to try the Holiday Inn on the same site to compare value and service. The check-in was efficient, but it lacked the superior welcome and service offered by Crown. I guess this is a problem when we start comparing. The restaurants were more café/bistro style - good for more casual dining or a sunny weekend afternoon. The room was well presented but small and a bit uninteresting in the décor. This Holiday Inn is in an unfortunate location as the entry is immediately adjacent to the main road exit from the main Crown complex. It is an extremely busy road due to the Crown Hotel and casino/entertainment venues. More positively, the main Crown complex is only a stroll away where you have the best of everything.

Clean and neat but definitely no luxury. A long walk across to the casino every time you wanted to play and also a fair walk to get in and out of the parking area.

Approximate cost: $140

We were very disappointed. The curtains and bedspread material was patterned like a motel room, the bathroom consisted of a bathtub that you stood in to have a shower with a shower curtain (hotels at half the price have at least a glass panel) and everything had to be paid for, nothing was included. We managed to get a relative discount as a relative works with Burswood, but even with that we were shocked with what we got for the price. It had what you would expect in a cheap motel room.

Approximate cost: $230

I had a conference/ training here about 3 months ago and overall the facilities and service was good although I would have to say nothing special. The place was alittle cramped and the tecnology offered failed us a couple of times.

The food offered was quite good and very prompt.

One of the finest 'cheap luxury' accommodation hotels in Perth, situated within the Burswood Entertainment Complex resort and next to the Intercontinental. High quality rooms, and fantastic rates for Burswood employees.
