Good hotel to stay at for a quick walk down to Darling Harbour. Room wasn't too fancy but I couldn't complain as I just stayed there for one night. The service was ok too.
Not as good as HI by the Rocks but still an ok hotel, needs a fefurb to bring up to the sister standard. Large room and located right next to Darling Harbour, China Town and the markets. Had to que for a breakfast table but it moved quickly and staff there were very helpful despite the small number of tables.
A group of us stayed here for one night recently. We were greeted courteously at the door, the doorman offerred to carry ort (very tiny) bags inside and the atmosphere from the moment we arrived at their front door was amazing!
Inside, the staff were smiling, cheerful and eager to please. When one of our party fell ill, they called a doctor, extended out check out time (FREE OF CHARGE!!) and were very concerned. The front desk staff even allowed us to borrow their computer to check in for our flight!!
Unbeleivably excellent service. Way above 5 star rating....I'd say 10!
