They've had a number of different chefs over the last few years. Unfortunately the chef at the moment is just not up to the rest. Quality is average and the menu has become so basic that my vegetarian neighbour no longer goes there as there's nothing for her on the menu at all. The steaks are still good and the fish is ok. There are definitely definitely better pubs around
A good traditional hotel, gaming and TAB facilities separated from bar area. Friendly staff, excellent counter meals. Dan Murphy's attached for good specials.
