I cannot recommend Luke and Lee highly enough. 5 stars doesn’t really do them justice, they were simply amazing for us. My wife and I both agree there was no way we would have been able to buy our house without them.

We were complete novices to the housing market, having never bought a house before, and weren’t even looking that seriously. We just stumbled across one we liked at 3pm on a Saturday. It was clear there was a lot of interest and the house might sell quickly so we thought we would benefit from using a buyer’s advocate. We found Luke and Lee that same afternoon through a recommendation on a local Facebook group. By 11am the next morning, a Sunday, we’d chatted on the phone, met for a coffee and they’d secured us a private viewing. Four days later our offer was accepted and we’d bought it!

Luke guided us through every step of the process. He came with us to the viewing and helped us decide whether the house was right for our needs, in a suitable location and for a fair price. He suggested other comparable properties which we went to look at and really helped inform our decision. The sale was by negotiation and we left all of those negotiations in Luke’s hands. His 30 years experience was a huge asset and he was able to navigate all of the jargon, sales tactics and rival offers calmly and smoothly on our behalf. He advised us on precisely what offer to make and how to use the rules and regulations cleverly to our advantage.

Even though the whole process only took 5 days, such was the demand from other buyers, it never felt too rushed or stressful. Luke took on all the hard work (and the stress) for us. I was amazed at how accurately he guided us on what price to offer. Had it been left to me I would have either been too conservative and missed out or become too emotionally involved and overpaid. Luke got it spot on.

The person who referred us to Home Buyer Advocates described Luke and Lee as having “hearts of gold” and that is true. They felt more like a friends and trusted advisors to us than someone we’d just hired to do a job. So much so that we’ve invited them to our housewarming BBQ to join in the celebrations - there’s no way we’d be there without them.
