Coffee with a steak and green peppercorn pie, can't go wrong. It was mouthwatering. i was served within a few minutes, staff were friendly, prices very good. I purchased a few melting moments for my family because they love them and it was almost my wife's birthday at the time so it was a nice treat.

Hi Bobby and Folks, we have a few Favorite Bakeries North East of Adelaide including Barossa Valley. Since we went to Middleton three months ago the Home Grain Bakeries are our Absolute Favorite for PASTIES and they have a good variety of them too. We tried the usual type Pasty, the Cornish and the Vegetarian - they were Absolutely Delicious and the Filling was Generous. Nice and Fat. We bought more to take home with us - a two hour trip. We want to visit their Bakery in McLaren Flat too. We went to the one at Mt Compass as well.

My wife and I were spending the day in Mclaren Vale and its surrounds when we felt a coffee and light snack was required. This bakery offered very nice coffee and we had a delicious danish on the side while sitting outside on a very nice day. Pleasant staff, many delicious meal options and good prices.

The sausage roll was really nice and had that classic bakery flavor to it but the strawberry jam doughnut was unfortunately really poor. The icing was good as was the bread but the jam was... crunchy. Being that it was homemade jam, it meant that the seeds hadn't been filtered out and ruined the experience of the jam. I ended up having to dig it out to finish it.

Always an enjoyable experience, my wife and I stopped in for a coffee and a pie for lunch. Very quickly served, we decided to eat in rather than take home. Comfortable seating inside out, many meal options, pies, pasties, sausage rolls, salad rolls and or course many sweet options. Never been disappointed, very friendly staff. Very popular with cyclists on the weekend.

On my way back home I was feeling peckish so I stopped here for something to eat, it was very busy but I was served promptly, just after a yummy home made delicious pie. It was exactly what I had hoped for. Left me wanting another one so I returned a couple of days later with my girlfriend.

This bakery seems to be busy every time we pay them a visit, well, that certainly is a good sign. Coffee is great, pies delicious and gourmet salad rolls scrumptious and of course their bread and rolls are wonderful, we always take a few home. The staff are always friendly, prices are great. Another fabulous bakery in the hills, not far from us.

After visiting the Fruit and Nut Nursery down the road we decided a coffee was required but after smelling the aroma of all those bakery items - how could we resist. Loved their pies and coffee, will be returning.

My family had just picked up our fresh Christmas Tree and was feeling a bit peckish, this bakery was perfect as it was on our way home. Their pies are fabulous, the steak & mushroom, steak & peppercorns and also their sausage rolls, not to forget their other delicious sweet pastries, unfortunately our coffee was average tasting, maybe we were too early for them. Otherwise a great place for some pastries.
