Please stop ringing your bell at almost 8pm at night whilst my kids are trying to sleep. You have just woken up my baby who is very hard to get to sleep. I normally love home ice cream and buy it most times it comes down my street at a reasonable hour but not anymore. You have lost yourself a loyal customer because of your idiotic loud bell ringing at night!!! from a person in Warwick.

Great idea, friendly service and good product delivered to your street. kids get excited when they hear the bell knowing it means icecream. Some of the product is similar to what you get in the supermarkets but they to change the product lines and try to vary so not to be too similar to what supermarkets offer in terms of icecream types and flavours.

We buy from our Home Ice Cream van all the time, kids love it when they hear him approaching.

Their head office is in Queensland, but we deal with the driver who has the franchise in West Footscray, Victoria. I think their Melbourne base is in Tullamarine.

Without fail the excitement mounts as you hear that ice-cream jingle being played by the truck - doesn't matter how old or young you are.

There's a great range of products and all quality ice-cream, either on a stick, in a cone or a tub. You can book a particular day and time for the driver to visit you on his round if you're a regular customer.

Our particular favourites are Jelly tops - 15 for under $10 - choc coated with a milk ice and a yummy fruity section. And the Mint Cones (like a Drumstick) are 8 pack for just over $10. Big saving on name brands and I think it's better icecream.

They also have seasonal Christmas items and tubs of other flavours, milk ices, and for summer, 30 Pack Koolsticks (various flavours) for $9.50.

The driver was always obliging, and stayed to have a yarn and a joke with us. He has change also if you don't have the right money.

A great service which makes me with I had a bigger freezer.

I miss the truck!!! Really cheap boxes of ice creams on a stick. My favourite was chocolate covered in nuts. Really cheap, like 20 in a box for about $12. DELICIOus

our whole family loves home ice cream its good that our friend works there as we know how the ice cream is made and that makes my daughter love it as her aunty made it so its special for her its always good quality and cheap prices aswell we always listen for the home ice cream truck still tho

This is the best i cream. Whenever we are in Brisbane it would be delivered and it was such a great service. Wish they delivered around us in Melbourne. The mango bars are our favorites and we miss them!

I love Home Ice-Cream. I do have 2 complaints though...

It doesn't come near my home and I'm in the middle of town, and the jingle on the TV commercial gets stuck in my head.

In all seriousness, the Ice-Cream is delicious (especially their butterscotch) and it's very affordable.

great concept of truck going driving through your neighbourhood selling ice creams, you just listen out for the music and then go outside and make your purchase

you do not need to worry about your ice cream melting as you would if you were to buy ice cream from supermarket and taking it home

They are delicious and can come in big and small orders. My favourite home ice cream was their heart shaped chocolate coated vanilla ice cream- see how amazing they get?

I am gluten free and Home icecream is fantastic as most of their products are made with natural ingredients. They have more choices for me than with the regular icecreamsl ike streets.

I tried ordering from Home icecream when we had the flyer in our mail box.

It was quite difficult to locate a near by franchisee, required a multiple phone calls but, after our initial purchase, it was all smooth.

Great buy lots of flavours, it's better to buy bulks imo.
I prefer to receive the goods in person than to have their special cooling packaging.

Quality local ice-cream at a very affordable cost. The Home Ice Cream van stops conveniently right in front of my house, so I don't have to go far to buy premium ice-cream treats for my family. Whenever my children and grandchildren visit, they love to open my freezer to help themselves to the assortment of Home Ice Cream flavours I have stocked up for them!

Nothing better than standing outside on a Monday morning when the bell starts ringing, the kids know the ice cream man is coming. Fantastic ice creams and very affordable.

Love the concept of bulk-buying the delivered icecream, at cheaper costs than a lot of other services. There are no well-known brands on offer, but the private brands are very good themselves. Great service.

Love to hear the music, as the home ice-cream truck comes driving down the street. Yummy ice-creams & value for money. The taste is great, & the boxes are filled with ice-creams.

Home Icecream is great value, especially in the summer holidays when the kids like an icypole nearly every day. Love that I can buy in bulk to last the fortnight and that they have healthy options (and the nutritional info is available on their website).

Their icecreams are smaller than those you buy at the shops but that's much better for portion control - I don't feel so guilty having a smaller icecream. I hate paying $3 or more for an icecream when I'm out now when I know I've got some at home that cost a fraction of that price.
Even better now they offer the option to order online and deliver to your door on delivery day (once per fortnight) or deliver to a Cool Cube (esky with special freezer blocks to keep cold 8+ hours) if you're going to be out.

I love that they come around regularly or you can order online and they'll come when it suits you. Very nice ice-cream especially the Bowen mango. Not so keen on the creamy low fat ones, they're a bit powdery textured.

my mum is in adelaide and when the kids hear the bells they get realy excited the icecream is excellent value is amazing wish they came to country towns

It's fun to buy ice-cream this way and the selection is great. A good variety and fun when you know it's the day home ice-cream is coming. Kids love it.

They call in our street once a fortnight and have a large variety of single or box ice cream, 2 litre tubs and ice cream cakes at a very cheap price on average a single one cost .40cents - $1.00 and boxes of 8 - 40 from $8.00 - $9.50 you are not able to buy these anywhere else at this price
