Many aspects of Home Instead care deserve mention. This company has myriad resources: if my husband requires any level of care, Home Instead provides a top-notch professional who takes care of him. Their depth of experience in the aged care field impresses, as does the genuine warmth and sincerity of the Home Instead health workers. Your client-centredness, caring, consistency, professionalism, 24/7 accessibility and overall excellence has removed a huge weight of responsibility from my shoulders. You have made the transition to a new season of life for my mum amazingly stress free. Now my mum and I can refocus on being a mum and daughter again.

Your Care Manager genuinely matched up staff to my mum’s needs, preferences and personal interests instead of just ticking boxes to fit into a system or roster. She really listens with high level communication skills, conscientiously reviews and follows up everything, paying attention to detail.

Mum’s daily carers are sensitive, respectful, capable, innovative, possess a good deal of common sense and humour, use their initiative and are multi skilled for my mum’s benefit. They are always ready and willing—whether it be to build relationship over a cuppa and chat, check that scripts aren’t about to run out, do a spot of gardening, assist with cleaning, provide transport to and from appointments, help with shopping or promote a safe environment. Nothing is too much trouble. They really give my mum a lift every day.

Mum no longer worries about multiple strangers coming to her home, when someone will show up, fees or how to get everything done. Mum is much happier nowadays and looks forward to her future. My brother and I have noticed a very real, positive change in her spirits. Indeed, we couldn’t be more appreciative of the ripple effect your care has made to us all.
