My experience with HSS has been very different (so far!) to the other reviewer. We have been using their services for over a year now, largely with assistance from the carer support and respite centre. The carers, nurses and administrative staff have been fantastic. They are very professional, empathetic and understanding. We have been very blessed so far with our experiences with them. The admin team also try to allocate the carers and nurses best suited to us. However, we have twice had problems in which a nurse did not show up - once this was because it wasn't scheduled properly by the admin person, the other time the nurse simply didn't show. The cost is also extremely expensive if you are paying privately - around $40 per hour in business hours or around $60 per hour outside that/on weekends. Far too high - just impossible! Overall, I would recommend HSS.

Care workers were fantastic and very caring. Always had a smile and kind word, considered others and were far more professional than the Registered Nurses.

Registered Nurses were inconsiderate, did not show up on time or bother most times to give a courtesy call to say that they were running late. Made rude comments about clients living in 'the northern suburbs' to office staff within clients hearing. Incurred damage to property that was not rectified, nor was there any apology given. UTTERLY DISRESPECTFUL.

Would NOT recommend nursing services to others.
No problems with Care Workers - they were delightful.
