Great little place to have a little indulgence with family and friends! We come especially for the portugese tarts - OMG, they are heavenely!! They also serve great coffee and other offer other yummy treats like cakes etc. Decor isn't the greatest but definitely worth the drive for the tarts!

Approximate cost: $1.50 +

I would go here weekly to buy the portugues tarts which are delicious and so fresh. When i buy the tarts from here everyone always wants to know where i got them from. The coffee is also quite good. Not sure but i think it is cash only which is a negative.

Great place to go for coffee and cakes with friend after a meal in the area. They specialize in Portuguese patisseries at a very cheap price. Don't expect a very modern deco , it's really a place to enjoy a coffee and chat. One of the best things i like about this shop is that i can buy lots great little tarts when i have a family party and still have change in my pocket!

Approximate cost: $1.20

I like the Portuguese custard tarts here but the ones across the road at Sweet Belem are slightly better. However cakes overall here are good and better value. The miniature versions are cute!

Great range of cakes, but I particularly like their range of tiny cakes, tarts and biscuits - they are such a great present idea rather than chocolates or a whole cake to take as a gift.
Coffee is very good, service is very helpful, but decor of shop is a bit uninspiring

This little café on New Canterbury Road in Petersham is the perfect place to stop off for a nice strong cup of coffee or tea and to try a few of the delicious pastries and cakes on offer, whether you are meeting up with friends or simply stopping off to dine alone. The shop provides customers with a wide selection of specialist pastries and cakes which are unlike those of many of the other small cafes along the street, and will be unmatchable elsewhere. It is a quaint little shop which is always occupied but never too busy or crowded, the service is excellent and the quality of the food is extremely high. With cakes set at moderate prices which will surely not break the budget, the Honeymoon Patisserie can definitely be recommended as a regular stop-off or weekly treat for an excellent breakfast, morning/afternoon tea or even just a snack!
