Possibly the worst place i have ever eaten at. Waited over 45 mins for our entrees to be told that we couldnt have 2 of the dishes ordered, Recieved the entree's that they were able to provide us with another 15mins later (meanwhile the table next to us who arrived after us had eaten and left before we had a mouthful) White wine was not chilled at all. When our main meals arrived, they had 2 out of 4 meals wrong, by that stage we were starving being at the restaurant for 2 hrs at that stage so didnt return the 2 meals but told wait staff what we had received is not what we ordered, My meal was too spicy to eat (and i love spicy food, and can eat pretty spicy food!) I could not even have 2 mouthfulls of it. This meal was beyond a joke! My mothers meat was extremely rare in her (wrongly given) meal, my boyfriends meal consisted of approx 300g of cashews, and about 4 pieces of chicken, 2 tablespoons of vegetables. So 3 main meals out of 4 main meals were way below satisfactory. my father on the other hand enjoyed his (wrongly given) seafood dish.
Bathroom was extremely unhygienic. Urine all over the floor and the smell was worse then a public toilet in the outskirts of Bangkok!
Upon paying our bill we spoke one of the staff that we were extremely unhappy with our meal and service, her english wasnt very good, but well enough to understand. The manager came over and refused to take any monetary value off the bill (which was around $200 for 4 people!, She then proceeded to yell at us in asain while the waitress that was translating was saying she didnt speak any English. We earlier heard the manager speaking to a customer in english, and also greeted another customer while we were standing there.

I understand restaurants can make mistakes when busy, but the restaurant wasnt even 1/3 full as it was a quiet wednesday night.

Very embarrassed that i took my parents who were visiting from overseas to this restaurant.

Great variety of different seafood and other meat dishes with unoffensive price tags. Located just off Glenferrie road, the Hut is one of the best Asian experiences in the area and i recommend it for dinner or lunch, especially if you are looking for something that will not break your budget. Their crispy skin chicken is great!

There are a lot of choices in Glenferrie Road. We went there because it is near Swinburne University. We walked in for lunch. To our surprise, their roast duck is so tasty that we rank it as the best in Melbourne.

Their lunch special is $7.50! Extensive menu for you to choose on rice. Great value, great food.
