A noisy bar in the middle of the city, quite trendy. The staff are friendly but basic service. There is a large of beers and cocktails and they also do some quite nice Sangrias.

This bar is very cool and quite different to its competitors.
Honky Tonks holds exhibitions of local artists works - which is why I first attended as one of my friends had her art showing in there for 2 weeks.
It's got very cool decor, plays great music and has plenty of outside seating... With heaters for the cooler months. Great selection of on tap beers, I love how they have mulled wine!

It's right in the middle of Garema place too so super easy to find or to go after eating dinner.
And if you want to have a snack they do $5 tacos !

Interesting little bar. No quite my cup of tea but well worth a look and a quiet drink. It's tight in the heart of the city where manas trattoria once was. The do have a nice selection of beers on tap.

Honkytonks is great for a drink after work or on a Saturday night. A great relaxed atmosphere and options of inside or outside seating. Good music, bar service is quick with the bar staff being friendly. The white wine sangria is a favourite.

This is a recent addition to the Canberra bar scene and it's amazing! It has a wonderful European vibe with seats spilling out onto the sidewalk. A great range of wines and beers, plus an affordable range of well-made snacks (hot dogs, tacos, etc). The decor inside is great and there are often exhibitions of local artwork.

Wonderful place to grab a drink after work and chill out.
