stayed at the horatio for 2 nights earlier this month and while it was nowhere near the best motel i've stayed in during my travels, but it definitely wasn't the worst.
the reception staff were a little bit serious, but other than that the motel was pretty good value.
the rooms were clean and laundered early in the day, the furniture typical of a motel. the bathroom quite presentable and the beds very comfortable.
would definitely stay there again, but perhaps a smile at the front desk next time

Very nice room. Only about 10min walk to main shopping area and a short drive to the wineries. Staff are helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay there.
