If you like the atmosphere of an older-style cinema, this is a good inexpensive cinema to visit. Came here with the $7 promotion to see "The Sapphires" but the aisles are narrower & the chairs are not as comfortable as they are low-back. Even the bathrooms are small. Not many people as it was a week-day morning.

I love this cinema. Very old style and has some atmosphere. Tickets on certain nights are much cheaper than other theatres & their admission to 3D films is also cheaper.

It's just like stepping back in time! An old style theatre that shows all the movies you like to see. Very inexpensive compared to the bigger theatre complexes.

Approximate cost: $11

If you don't want to spend the big dollars at the mainstream cinemas, try Hornsby Odeon. Quite an old fashioned theatre, this will take you back to yesteryear. Good to take the kids in school holidays, and they offer a movie deal with ice cream, drinks etc.

Cheap, local movie joint. Tend, to get movies later than the big cinemas, but when they do it's much better value!

Approximate cost: $10

The place looks a lot better now! The ceilings and seats used to look pretty gross but it has really changed a lot. Service is usually pretty friendly and staff are generally quite willing to help. Value is great compared to other cinemas, and the free seating is good. Carpark and station very close by as well as a Westfield and many restaurants.

It is great to visit a cinema just like the old days - a true cinema. Great value for money for families and an opportunity to have an experience at the movies

Odean is right opposite the Hornsby Railway Station and bus and taxi ranks. There is a huge convenient car parks right behind the cinema.

Close of Hornsby RSL and numerous restaurants and cafes.

Great specials on website and you get to print the vouchers.

A great little theatre especially when one is looking to reduce the cost of the larger theatres where everything seems to blow out far more than the experience deserves. It did a long moment for the guy at the popcorn stand to register a waiting customer even though there was a steady stream of incomers, that was my only negative thought.

Approximate cost: $25
