This Old Hotel is in the process of being restored and they have done a wonderful job with what they have done so far. We rang ahead to make sure the kitchen would still be open as it was 2pm on a sunday and great news it is open until 4pm for lunches. The staff are very pleasant and came right out to us to advise that one of the meals we had ordered was not available and we chose something different and they bought the price difference straight to us which we would have not even have noticed otherwise. The Gentleman that answered the phone when I called was near the door to welcome us and did a wonderful job in seating and organising drinks. I fell that this pub will take off once people realise how classy the restorations have been done and the food was terrific, great taste and sizes with very impressive prices.
