As I've recently discovered, accommodation in the heart of Melbourne is very costly for very little space. so when I came across hotel Claremont I was over the moon and have now stayed there on four different occasions. the service was spot on and the ladies behind the desk were very helpful, the price is outstanding and location is perfect! its located right near south yarra station near Melbourne CBD and is less then a 5 minute train trip to get into the city. for $79 a night weekends I was over the moon to stay there. for a double bed and a bunk the room also had air conditioner/heater and a tv. all in all its great value for price and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay near the city on a budget !
