Prior to moving to sydney I lived in a housing department home in Launceston for many years & found the tenancy officers to be friendly & helpful. The homes are affordable, clean, tidy & the yards are easy to maintain. Any maintenance that needs doing to the home is the responsibility of housing tasmania & once any damage is reported to them they arrange for repairs to be done within 7 days normally & the maintenance workers clean any mess that they make
