lovely cinema, love going there, 1 star is for the disgusting Gambling ADs played TWICE to an Cinema full of young Children, WAKE UP! This is not acceptable targeting Children with Glitzy gambling ADs!

I hadn't been to Hoyts for a while, and now I remember why. Guys, it's just too expensive. It shouldn't cost the better part of $100 for myself and my teenage son to go and see a movie. Over $40 for two tickets and over $30 for candy bar, it's just ridiculous. The popcorn was stale, and even though there were hardly any patrons, it took us a while to get served (and that's standing in the internet booking line). Commercial cinemas need to get their act together and make going to the movies more affordable, or they are just going to kill their own industry. On the plus side, the foyer was cleaner than I remembered, but they need to pay more attention to the toilets.

there was a noise during the movie, apparently it was the speaker. However, no one fixed it during the movie. It was really anoying. At the end of the movie the staff checked want happened. However the movie was already ruined...

Going to the movies can be quite expensive these days - and Hoyts Belconnen is no exception. However, the cinema quality is good, seats are comfortable. I love that they have recently introduced reserved seating (you select your seats upon purchasing tickets). Just remember to get them to swipe your parking ticket (gives you three free hours instead of just two).

What I'd expect from a movie theatre. Is located in the shopping centre so can be hard to get a park when busy and a pain after hours to get out when they close off parts of the shopping centre.
