I am an avid movie goer and there are a few things I generally take into account when going to a cinema.
1. Cleanliness - Hoyts Chatswood Westfield is always kept clean, it is well maintained and the bathrooms are always spotless.
2. Audio and Video Quality - Hoyts and Event Cinemas are front runners in the technology used for this and it shows, especially as Hoyts Chatswood has a Extreme Screen.
3. Ticket Price - I am smart and always buy my tickets through my Heath Insurance so I find both Hoyts and Event Cinemas both become really well priced ($11.50 per ticket) when purchased this way.

Parking is easy as it is in the centre and the third hour is free when you validate your parking ticket at the cinema.

Candy Bar is also quite good however quite expensive.

I have used their La Premiere a number of times and have found the food and drink to always be excellent and the bottomless popcorn is great too.

Staff are generally quite young so you do get a little inexperience coming through.

Approximate cost: $20

A good clean cinema. Prices have risen over the past few years, so it's best to buy vouchers online. Of join the Hoyts cinema club to get discounts. The cinema is located far away from the rest of the shopping centre but its kind of a good thing because it keeps the noise and crowd away. The service is also quite friendly, usually just uni students.

The cinema is clean in between sessions. Good snacks. Excellent 3D cinemas. Great amenities. Has a good selection of restaurants accessible before and after shows.

Friendly helpful staff, however ticket price is equal to that of it's competitors, it dose not match in value as the seats are uncomfortable and the cinema arrangement is whacky, otherwise an enjoyable experience

Approximate cost: $16

This is my closest cinema so I go regardless of quality and staff, but the cinemas are nice enough and always clean

My partner and I attended Hoyts Chatswood to watch "Toy Story 3" in 3D. It wasn't until we were in our seats that we realised that we had not been supplied with our 3D glasses. My partner had to go downstairs to ask for some glasses. The good part about the glasses is that they are more comfortable than usual 3D glasses and they are yours to take home.

Although they show a wide range of movies, the service is not exactly top notch. Staff are frequently absent from the ticket checking entrance, and instead spend time checking for tickets within the cinema, causing distraction for viewers.

Approximate cost: $14

they had very good service there and not to pricey. they have a little game area for the kids just give them $5 and there off playing games while you buy the movie tickets or wait for your movie to begin.

No complaints - fairly regular times for movies, decent seats (not as big as other cinemas like George St, Greater Union) and they show the older movies at the Mandarin Centre (Chats) Hoyts cinemas. Convenient free 3 hr parking at the westfield carpark.
