We booked a taxi to go to Sydney airport from Liberty Grove on 30 April 2021. As we had not caught a taxi in a long time we were unaware of the fare. The taxi driver quoted us $85 + TOLLS and that the meter fare would be more. The trip took 29 minutes. We paid the fare $89 including tolls. Upon arrival back at Sydney airport we caught a taxi home. The trip took 29 minutes no tolls and the fare was $60.40. HP taxis clearly overcharge. Both taxis were vans no difference there. Will not be using HP taxi service again and will not recommend to anyone.
