Overpriced for this part of the world. Facilities are average at best. Other parks along this highway are cheaper and better quality. When I said "hello" to a staff member walking past our site, he totally ignored me. This says everything about their attitude towards their customers.

Approximate cost: $28

This is a pretty basic park. Bar for the new camp kitchen it is an old style caravan park with pretty basic facilities.

The amenities block is quite old. The showers aren't the best and if you hear someone flushing a toilet then you'd better step out of the water to avoid being scolded.

The sites are quite roomy and we found a site under one of the few mature trees in the park.

The camp kitchen is modern and very nice. It has a couple of barbeques, hotplates, a microwave, toaster and a fridge. There is also plenty of seating under cover.

Not the greatest park but for a small town park it is ok. There is an option to stay in a free site near the showgrounds but it is well worth paying to stay here to have the showers, power and the camp kitchen.

Approximate cost: $25

Sounds like a really interesting place. I love camping and I like to find the "just that little bit different" places to go to. Great review, thanks.
