Hunky Dory

Always love coming here, service is fantastic, fish and chips are not oily and I love having the rice and salad option, it's actually appealing here too, salads are interesting and always come with nice dressings and rice is tasty

Decided to pop in while waiting for a bus to Southland, it was good value for the money and the potato cakes were tasty. Grabbed some chips as well which also definitely did not disappoint.

hunky dory has got a large range, i stopped by one day on a walk and grabbed a snack on the go, very tasty. would go back again

Hunky Dory has a fantastic menu selection, from fresh fish grilled or fried, thick chips, fluffy potato cakes and a range of salads. It is a bit more expensive than other fish and chip shops but the quality is better and you can go and get a healthy meal for lunch or dinner.

There are seats available inside and outside for eating or you can takeaway.
