Took my visiting nephew here and he loved it. Couldn't get him off the ice. While I was waiting I enjoyed a nice hot cuppa from the friendly staff. He had a ball and want to go back there on his next visit to Newcastle.

If you're looking for somewhere to take the kids then this place is great. it's suitable for ages 4 and up and is open all through the school holidays, they even offer party packages at a reasonable price. They have ice skate hire and for a small fee you can obtain a locker to keep your belongings in whilst having fun on the ice. They have a cafeteria which offers all types of hot and cold beveredges and food and they even have an enclosed eating area with glass windoiws so you can enjoy a coffee whilst watching your kids on the ice. It does get pretty chilly in there so make sure you take a jumper and an extra pair of thick socks help prevent blisters.
